Adow ne Domaget 2020 KKK Episodes

Adow ne Domaget (Dumagat Day) is the yearly cultural gathering of our Dumagat indigenous communities in Dingalan, Aurora. The inaugural Adow ne Domaget happened in 2018, co-presented by the Dumagat Cultural Council (Pasulosagkaden ah Kinasigepoan ne Domaget or PAKNED) and our collective—the Aurora Artist Residency Program and Space (AARPS)

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, we had to be more imaginative in our approach to celebrate our yearly festival. We decided to invoke the power of sound and the voice to be able to transmit, communicate, and (re)present in the time of forced isolation.

Through this radio program-festival, Adow ne Domaget 2020 KKK - Kuwento, Kultura, at Kalusugan (Stories, Culture, and Community Health), we were able to gather the voices of the community in order to curate a festival of sounds, voices, and narratives.

Below are links to each of the six (6) episodes of Adow ne Domaget 2020 KKK radio program-festival.
